It’s the first day

I’ve mentioned before I’m a sucker for new beginnings. The first day of a new calendar year is like a reset button to me. Clear cache, defragment, optimize and be fantastic! Well this year I’m focusing less on how efficient I’m going to be about various things or about achieving this and that. I’ve been influenced by what seems to be a recurring theme the past few day by pure coincidence. A trailer I watched on photographer Paul Leitner’s life, the ‘Don’t take yourself too seriously, you’ll never get out of it alive’ message on a photo frame that sits in the entryway and caught my eye one too many times and the no fuss, casual New Year’s eve we had with friends who are easy going and have an incredibly calming energy about them all point to the same thing. A message to ‘Not take yourself too seriously’. I’m going to take it easy and enjoy the little things. Happy New Year 🙂
